“She is clothed with strength and dignity; she can laugh at the days to come.” – Proverbs 31:25

There’s something sacred about the quiet moments before the house wakes—or maybe the only “quiet” happens when the last little one finally drifts off to sleep. In the noise, the mess, the never-ending to-do lists, it can be easy for our soul to get buried under the weight of all we carrying. But tucked into those ordinary moments is an invitation from God: Come sit with Me. Come be still. Come hear My voice.

Reading the Bible isn’t another task on the list—it’s a lifeline. God’s Word becomes the gentle whisper that says, “You’re not alone. I see you.” If we feel tired, His Word brings strength. If we feel overwhelmed, it brings peace. If you’re wondering if you’re doing enough, it brings truth: You are loved, and I am with you.

Each time we open our Bibles, we’re not just reading words—we are drawing near to the One who made us, who walks with us, and who delights in our heart. And as we do, we’re also laying a foundation of faith for our children. They may not remember every chore we did, but they will remember the spirit we carried—the peace, the grace, the faith that flowed from a heart rooted in God’s Word.

So today, whether it’s five minutes with a cup of coffee or a verse scribbled on a sticky note, let your soul breathe in His truth. Let Scripture be the place where your weary heart finds rest and your busy mind finds focus.

You don’t have to have it all together. You just have to come.

Love and Encouragement, Eve
